Privacy
Debon puts your receipt on your phone after you tap the sticker: in the Debon app or in your browser. We keep this as small as we can.
Your receipt
- For a receipt we never ask for your name, email address or phone number.
- A receipt holds what the shop sold, the amount, the time and the card brand with its last 4 digits. Nothing more of your card.
- We don't store IP addresses and use no tracking or analytics.
- Receipts are deleted after the shop's retention period (normally 12 months).
- Anyone with the receipt link can open it, so only share it with people you trust.
Cookies
- One strictly necessary cookie, so a second tap on the same phone opens the same receipt. It expires after 10 minutes.
- If you pick a language with the flags, we remember that choice in a cookie for a year. It only holds the language code.
Signing up for the pilot
If you sign up for the pilot (with your email address or with Google), we keep your email address, your name if Google sends it, and your business name if you fill it in. We only use it to contact you about the pilot. Email privacy@tabon.me and we'll delete it.
